WEDCO District Health Department is guided by a District Board of Health, which oversees public health initiatives across all service areas. In addition to the district board, each county within the WEDCO district—Harrison, Nicholas, and Scott—has its own Local Board of Health to address the unique public health needs of its community. Together, these boards help shape policies, support programs, and ensure the health and well-being of the residents we serve.
