Clinical Services
At WEDCO District Health Department, we are committed to supporting the ongoing health and well-being of our community by offering a wide range of essential in-clinic services to help keep you and your family healthy and protected.
Our services include immunizations for children and adults to protect against vaccine-preventable diseases, comprehensive STI/STD testing and treatment, tuberculosis screenings for early detection and management, well child exams, school and sports physicals, adult and CDL physicals, and family planning services such as birth control options, pregnancy testing, emergency contraception, and free condom distribution. We also provide the WIC (Women, Infant, and Children) Nutritional Program, hepatitis C testing and treatment, and more.
We are here to help you take charge of your health and invite you to join us in building a healthier community—one visit at a time.
Medicaid & Insurances
Many of our services are covered by Medicaid and most major insurance plans. If you are uninsured or your insurance does not cover a specific service, we offer a Sliding Fee Scale based on your income and the Federal Poverty Guidelines. This means your cost for services is adjusted according to your income level.
Some services—such as childhood immunizations and communicable disease screenings—are available for a small, nominal fee set by the Kentucky Department for Public Health.
If you’re a Kentucky resident aged 19–64 without health insurance, call 1-866-284-5808 to explore your options for purchasing health coverage, applying for government programs, or accessing care at no cost through Health Kentucky participating providers.
