Syringe Service Program
WEDCO District Health Department offers an anonymous and confidential Syringe Service Program. This program provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals, offering services such as:
– STI testing and treatment referrals
– Safe biohazard disposal, overdose prevention education and Narcan distribution
– Access to sterile equipment
– Free HIV and Hepatitis C screenings and treatment referrals
– Vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Flu.
The program is part of WEDCO’s ongoing effort to promote harm reduction and improve community health outcomes.
