The WEDCO District Health Department offers a wide variety of Community Health Education services. Listed below are descriptions of the present services and contact person for each program. WEDCO District Health Department Community Health Promotion staff attend various community meetings regularly in order to network/collaborate with leaders and community members in each of the counties we serve. Examples of these meetings include, Champions for a Drug Free Harrison County, Scott Countians Against Drugs (SCAD), KY-Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (KY-ASAP Boards in Nicholas County, Scott County, and Harrison County, Local Advisory Boards (Schools and Extension), Nicholas County Comprehensive Family Services, Harrison County Comprehensive Family Services, and Georgetown-Scott County Community Connection.
