Nurturing the Thriving Mind: School-Based Mental Health

WEDCO partners with the University of Kentucky’s Beautiful Minds Program to support students’ mental health across all three counties.
We bring behavioral health screenings, suicide prevention, and bullying awareness straight into schools, focusing on early intervention and long-term emotional wellness.

Our Approach

Our approach includes:

  • In-school mental health assessments using tools like RAAPS
  • Behavioral health referrals and access to care
  • Suicide risk identification and early response
  • Anti-bullying and resiliency education
  • Close collaboration with school staff and caregivers

Mental health is a public health issue — and we believe every child deserves support, dignity, and hope.
